He's Free!

As of 5:30 this afternoon my jail guy is a jail guy no longer. The PD called me and told me he pled to a "lesser misdemeanor" and was released. He said was going to be delivering L personally to the program where he will be staying. I called and gave them the heads up. I also called C so we could have a mutual "yahoo" moment. I'll run over tonight after my meeting to check in with him and make sure he's settling in. Grace has brought us safe thus far.....thank you all so much for your prayers!

Ok. at least he is free. I do hope he is able to begin life again...surrounded by prayers, upheld in grace, sustained by love, able to internalize a new sense of self...prayers continue.

Yahoo! What they said.

And, dear pastor ladies on the Internet, please pray also for Tiel, whom Nicholas and I met at a protest on Saturday. She is a lovely gutsy young woman who, with ten others, will soon undergo a trial for crossing the line at the School for the Americas Vigil this past November at Fort Benning. The sentences for this civil disobedience are getting heavier every year....
